Providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 1041) to amend title 38, United States Code, to prohibit the Secretary of Veterans Affairs from transmitting certain information to the Department of Justice for use by the national instant criminal background check system; providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 6047) to amend title 38, United States Code, to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to increase the dollar amounts for the payment of certain disability compensation and dependency and indemnity compensation under the laws administered by the Secretary; providing for consideration of the bill (H.R. 1329) to permit the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum to be located within the Reserve of the National Mall, and for other purposes; and waiving a requirement of clause 6(a) of rule XIII with respect to consideration of certain resolutions reported from the Committee on Rules.

Motion by Mr. McGovern to add a new section to the rule providing for immediate consideration of H.R. 7711, the No Rewards for January 6 Rioters Act, under a closed rule, debatable for one hour equally divided between the chair and ranking member of the Committee on the Judiciary, with a self- executing amendment that would require the disclosure to Congress within 15 days of any settlements or other payments made out of the so-called ``Anti-Weaponization Fund.''

Motion by Mr. McGovern to make in order amendment #4 to H.R. 6047, offered by Representative Takano, which would strike Sections 3 and 4 of the underlying bill, the sections that would raise home loan refinancing fees for veterans.

Motion by Mr. McGovern to make in order amendment #5 to H.R. 6047, offered by Representative Takano, which would strike Sections 3 and 4 of the underlying bill and replace them with a reduction in the estate tax exemption from $15 million to $14.5 million.

Motion by Mr. McGovern to make in order amendment #2 to H.R. 1041, offered by Representative Takano, which would carve out several serious mental illnesses from the reporting prohibitions in the underlying bill. Defeated: 3--7

Motion by Ms. Leger Fernandez to make in order amendment #2 to H.R. 1329, offered by Representative Chu, which reverts the amended bill back to its original, bipartisan base text and includes the text of H.R. 1330, the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Latino Act.
